Welcome

Rotterdam Princetown Fire District #5

Our current Fire Station, located at 144 Dunnsville Road, has been in service since 1970. The facility is now outdated and has issues with safety, health and on-going repairs.

It is too small to house our modern apparatus, safely turn out for calls, and provide proper training. It does not conform to current building codes, is not ADA compliant and is energy inefficient.

To meet structural, safety and regulatory requirements, and improve facility functionality, the Board of Fire Commissioners has developed a proposal to expand and renovate the existing Pine Grove Volunteer Fire Department Station.

The proposed expansion and renovation is planned for 2 phases, allowing the Fire station to remain in full service throughout the construction.

By adding only the functionally necessary and re-using as much of the existing structure as possible the Board of Fire Commissioners believes this proposal represents the best long term value for Rotterdam Princetown Fire District #5 and the most responsible use of taxpayer dollars.
